First Step To Speed Up Vista Internet Connection

There are many Vista speed Internet connection anywhere advise, but most of the problems were not compatible on the hardware, tweaking Vista will not help much in this situation. The first step in trying to fine-tune the network settings, test your hardware, I'll show you how to do that with an effective tool from Microsoft.

The utility is called "Internet Connectivity Evaluation Tool, this tool even in Internet Explorer is installed, and you need the Internet –To use Explorer. There are 5 types of connection test should be performed:

Type # 1 – Basic Internet Connectivity Test.

This is the basic Internet connection that you establish between your computer and your router. Without this, I doubt that you can connect to any web connected.

Type # 2 – Network Address Translator Type.

Type # 3 – Traffic Congestion Test.

These tests will help you determine whether the router is working properly, you should check the router before trying any tweaks to change, unless your router is brand new!
